Fee Concession1. OBC
Students of other backward communities who are bonafide subjects of Kerala State are eligible for full fee concession. They will have to produce the necessary nativity and income certificate from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahasildar. Income Certificate issued by Village Officers and countersigned by Members Parliament or Members of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, will be accepted for the purpose.
2. OEC, SC, ST
Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, O E.C. and convert from SC/ST are eligible for full fee concession, lumpsum grants for purchase of books, actual boarding and lodging charges in collegiate hostel or other Government hostels or monthly stipend at the rate fixed by the Government from time to time. (This concession shall be granted by the Harijan Welfare Department on proper application with necessary certificate to be submitted at the prescribed time.)
Under Kumara Pillai Commission Report, Students Of belonging to socially and educationally backward classes whose family income does not exceed 26,000/- and 36,000/- respectively in the case of Degree and PG course, are eligible for full fee concession. Students belonging to other communities whose family income is within the above limits are also eligible for fee concession.
4. FISHERIES CONCESSION
Students who bring a certificate from the Fisheries Department are eligible for full fee concession, lumpsum grant and stipend at the rate fixed by the Government, irrespective of caste, community and annual income. The last date for submission of application will be notified on the notice board. Application for renewal should be submitted within one month from the date of reopening of the college.
5. EDUCATIONAL CONCESSION
Award to the children and grand-children of political sufferers is offered provided the annual income does not exceed Rs 3,600/-. The concession will be granted to the students at the commencement of each course of study. The concession once granted will be renewed every year till the completion of the concerned course of study, subject to income-limit specified and satisfactory progress in studies, good conduct and regularity in attendance.
